A simple way to meditate is to count the breathing.
Count your breath up to 21 times.
If you forgot what number you were on, then go back to one.
When you get to 21, if your mind has not settled, then go back to one and count to 21 again.
Whenever your mind becomes settled, then stop counting and relax in that state. When your mind starts to get busy again, count up to 21 or until your mind is settled.
